<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an associative memory device capable of searching a DA address and an SA address at high speed, and surely performing an address learning and an aging. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A memory control circuit notifies of writing of key information and control information corresponding to associative information in each associative memory when no key information of a search target is stored in the associative memory, performs control to write an owner flag registered in an own associative memory in the own associative memory if the notification is about the own associative memory, and write an owner flag indicating nonregistration of the associative information in the own associative memory in the own associative memory if the notification is about the other associative memory.
