An accelerator is provided which can efficiently emit ion beams of different energies. This accelerator is provided with toroid coils (11a), (11B), high-frequency accelerating electrodes (9A), (9B), (9C), (9D) which accelerate an ion beam along multiple beam orbits, a beam emission path (20) which extracts an accelerated ion beam to the outside, and a massless septum (12), which is a beam separation device for separating an ion beam from the beam orbit at multiple positions in the radial direction of the annular coils (11A), (11B). |
