PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve smooth screen updating as if an independent scope circuit were possessed even when a configuration for performing frequency analysis is shared for dual system inputs in a spectrum analyzer.SOLUTION: When dividing an analysis frequency bandwidth (span) into a plurality of blocks for dual system A, B input signals and successively performing frequency analysis, data B11-B14 for one screen (frame) is continuously processed for a system B in which the time τB required for analysis is short, and data is processed in divided sections for a system A in which the time τA required for analysis is long, within a range that does not affect the processing of the system B. Therefore, effects between dual systems A, B are reduced to a possible minimum, allowing the dual systems A, B to behave as if the dual systems A, B had an independent scope circuit, and it is possible to achieve smooth display in the respective systems on updating cycles RA, RB that are approximately twice those when the systems are independent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
