PURPOSE: Functional socks capable of preventing a sprain on the ankles are provided to improve an exercise effect of the sports activity, and to prevent the foot disease. CONSTITUTION: Functional socks includes the following: left and right socks(100, 120) having maniphalanx pads, metatarsal bone pads, and tarsal bone pads attached to the bottom; lateral foot arch pads(116, 136) supporting the lateral foot arches from the toes of a user; and first meta tarsophalangeal joint pads supporting the meta tarsophalangeal joints of big toes; calcaneus pads supporting the calcaneus. The lateral foot arch pads have higher height than the first meta tarsophalangeal joint pads and the calcaneus pads. The calcaneus pads have recognition phrases. |
