PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller that makes it possible to reduce a power consumption amount accurately and on the basis of a target value.SOLUTION: A controller 10 acquires, on the basis of results of power consumption measurement, an integrated value with respect to power consumption from start time of a predetermined period to predetermined timing in the period. The timing is set at a plurality of points of time in the period. The controller 10 calculates, at each timing, a power consumption amount's reference value (αF(t)) from the start time to the timing by using reference data (F(t)) based on a past power consumption amount, the integrated value, and a reduction amount by which reduction is estimated to have been achieved by control. The controller 10 determines, at each timing on the basis of a reduction target value for power consumption, the integrated value, and the reference value, whether or not electric energy corresponding to the reduction target value has been eliminated. The controller 10, when it is determined that the electric energy corresponding to the reduction target value has not been eliminated, performs control for reducing power consumption in a home electric appliance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
