PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease in access performance while updating firmware of a plurality of storage devices of a second type that temporarily store data stored in a storage device of a first type.SOLUTION: In Fig. 1 (a), a storage controller 101 classifies a storage device 103-1 of a second type into a first group 110-1 and classifies a storage device 103-2 of the second type into a second group 110-2. In Fig. 1 (b), firm 105 is assumed to be being applied to the storage device 103-1 of the second type belonging to the first group 110-1 as a first half section. Thereby, the storage controller 101 accesses a storage device 102 of the first type using the storage device 103-2 of the second type belonging to the second group 110-2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
