PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rear end of a sheet from being free and drawn to a side of a separation plate 43, after the rear end of the sheet passes through a fixing nip N1 of a fixing roller pair 41 and at the time when the state of the sheet is changed where the sheet is held and conveyed only with a conveyance nip N2 of a conveyance roller pair 12.SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: a contact member 46 that is provided on a sheet conveyance path between a fixing roller pair 41 and a conveyance roller pair 12 to be in contact with a surface on a heating roller 41a side of a sheet after or during passage through a separation plate 43; and an urging member 49 that urges the contact member 46 so that the sheet is pressed by the contact member 46 to a side separating from the separation plate 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
