PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and an electric power steering device capable of further prolonging life of a filter of a radiator with a waterproof function.SOLUTION: A waterproof ventilating device 10 includes a waterproof ventilation filter 12, a thermal expansion material 13, and a ventilation valve 14. The thermal expansion material 13 is expandable according to the temperature of a motor interior area MIR. The ventilation valve 14 opens only when the thermal expansion material 13 is expanded. Air is blown into the waterproof ventilation filter 12 only when the ventilation valve 14 opens. By rotation of an inner fan, ventilation can be performed between the motor interior area MIR and outsides of the motor interior area MIR.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
