A light emitting device of an embodiment comprises: a substrate; first and second electrode pads; a plurality of light emitting cells which are disposed on the substrate, and are arranged between the first and second electrode pads in a straight line toward a first direction; and at least one connection wiring which electrically connects the plurality of light emitting cells, each of the plurality of light emitting cells comprising a first conductivity type semiconductor layer, an active layer and a second conductivity type semiconductor layer which are sequentially disposed on the substrate, wherein the first electrode pad is connected to the second conductivity type semiconductor layer of the first light emitting cell, the second electrode pad is connected to the first conductivity type semiconductor layer of the last light emitting cell, and the connection wiring electrically connects the first conductivity type semiconductor layer of one of the neighboring light emitting cells to the second conductivity type semiconductor layer of another of the neighboring light emitting cells. |
