A search method and apparatus for contact persons. The method comprises: a terminal determining a first contact person selected by a user from a first contact person list (S101); the terminal searching for and obtaining a first association contact person list related to the first contact person according to association relationship information about the first contact person stored in a database (S102); the terminal displaying the first association contact person list (S103); and the terminal determining a second contact person selected by the user from the first association contact person list (S104). By means of the search method and apparatus, a target object can be rapidly found by means of a one-level or multi-level relationship search according to input information of a user and association relationship information between the target object stored in a database and the input information, thereby improving the efficiency and the success rate of searching for contact persons with less contacts. |
