摘要 The present invention relates to a purification process of betulin and lupeol from the mixture of birchbark triterpenes, wherein the purification process comprises the following steps of: a) dissolving the extract of the mixture of birchbark triterpenes in acetone, preferably at the boil; b) hot filtering the formed solution, thinning the filtrate with distilled water, filtering, washing with distilled water and drying the formed suspension; c) dissolving the precipitate of the step b) in ethanol at the boil, adding to the solution a hot solution of CaCli2 in ethanol and slowly adding to so formed clear solution a hot ethanol solution of NaOH, at gradual formation of insoluble Ca(OH)i2, which is filtered off, whereby the filtrate is let to crystallize, the obtained crystalline precipitate is filtered off, washes with ethanol and water and dried; d) dissolving the crystalline precipitate of the step c) in chloroform, preferably at the boil and the obtained solution is precipitated with petrol ether and/or with petrol and/or with a pure low hydrocarbon being selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbons containing 5 to 8 carbon atoms, preferably pentane, hexane, cyclohexane, heptane, whereby the obtained betulin precipitate is filtered off, washed with petrol ether and/or with petrol and/or with a pure low hydrocarbon being selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbons containing 5 to 8 carbon atoms, preferably pentane, hexane, cyclohexane, heptane and dried, whereby the it is preferred to repeat at least once the boiling, filtration and drying processes; the thus obtained filtrate containing lupeol is evaporated; e) dissolving the precipitate of filtrate of the step d) in a minimum amount of chloroform at laboratory temperature, selectively filtering the obtained solution through silicagel in chloroform and colorless filtrate is evaporated to dry state. The present invention further relates to betulin and lupeol prepared in the above-described manner.
