PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine that can early exhibit an oil separation function in an oil separator after start-up of an internal combustion engine body.SOLUTION: This engine 100 (internal combustion engine) includes: an engine body 10; and an oil separator 50 mounted to an outer peripheral surface 10a of the engine body 10 separately from the engine body 10 to separate oil included in blow-by gas of the engine body 10. The oil separator 50 includes: a suction port 51 that is connected to the inside of the engine body 10 and into which the blow-by gas flows; and a drain passage 53 that is provided to discharge the oil separated inside the oil separator 50 and has an oil discharge port 54 directly connected to the suction port 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
