PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of producing simply and efficiently without requiring a special catalyst or a complicated process, glycidyl ethers having a small content of halogen especially chlorine, which is useful in a field avoiding halogen.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of glycidyl ethers in which alcohols and epihalohydrin are reacted together in the presence of an alkali catalyst.
