PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet ejection device capable of reducing failure of a loading state of a sheet.SOLUTION: The sheet ejection device includes: a vertically movable sheet ejection table in which the sheet is loaded; a sheet ejection unit 2 for ejecting the sheet to the ejection table; an upper surface detection sensor 9 for detecting presence or absence of the sheet at a position that is a reference of uppermost surface height position of the sheet loaded on the ejection table; and a control unit 11 for performing control in which the ejection table, when the upper surface detection sensor 9 detects the sheet during ejection operation by the sheet ejection unit 2, is lowered until the upper surface detection sensor 9 fails to detect the sheet. The control unit 11 stops the ejection operation when the upper surface non-detection ejected sheet number, which is the ejected sheet number when the upper surface detection sensor 9 fails to detect the sheet, reaches a predetermined number after the ejection table is lowered. |
