PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric tool which can suppress power consumption in the circuit part of a secondary battery pack, even if stored in a state of the secondary battery pack in connection with the tool body.SOLUTION: A secondary battery pack 2 includes a circuit part 7 for monitoring the state of a battery body 5. The circuit part 7 includes a sleep mode in which power consumption is relatively small and an operating mode in which power consumption is relatively large. The circuit part 7 is in the sleep mode when the secondary battery pack 2 is in a non-connection state and when the operating switch 8 of the tool body 1 is in an OFF state with the secondary battery pack 2 connected to the tool body 1. When the operating switch 8 of the tool body 1 becomes an ON state with the secondary battery pack 2 connected to the tool body 1, a switchover from the sleep mode to the operating mode is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
