Disclosed are a lens retaining bracket and a lens manufacturing method. The lens retaining bracket comprises a lens retaining unit (8); the lens retaining unit (8) comprises a lower retaining component (10), a side rotating retaining component (20), a side fixing retaining component (30) and a force applying component (22), wherein the lower retaining component (10) contacts with the periphery of a lens base material from the lower portion of the lens base material and limits the lens base material at a lens retaining position; the side rotating retaining component (20) contacts with the periphery of the lens base material from one side of the base material along a horizontal direction, limits the lens base material at a lens retaining position and can rotate; the side fixing retaining component (30) contacts with the periphery of the base material from the other side of the base material along the horizontal direction and limits the lens base material at a lens retaining position; and the force applying component (22) can press the side rotating retaining component to the lens base material. When the lens retaining unit doesn't retain the lens base material, the lens retaining unit can separate the side rotating retaining component and the force applying component; and when the lens retaining unit retains the lens base material, the side rotating retaining component contacts with the force applying component, and the side rotating retaining component applies a force to the lens retaining position. During installation of the lens base material, by means of the lens retaining bracket, a lens optical surface of the lens base material is free from being damaged, and the lens retaining bracket has an excellent operation performance. |
