The invention relates to a device and a method for ultrasonic evacuation of the oxygen in the volume of the headspace of a bottle prior to capping. The device comprises an ultrasonic generator, a converter (4) and a sonotrode (3),which in use in contact with the body of the bottle (1), filled with an effervescent liquid,prior agitates the liquid causing it to foam. The device further comprises a self-propelled plate (5) for fixing the converter (4), and a fixed plate (6) for application to a capping machine. The self-propelled plate (5) and the fixed plate (6) are joined by a fixing pin (21) that allows rotation of the self-propelled plate (5) with respect to the fixed plate (6).The device according to the invention is applied to a machine for capping bottles containing effervescent liquids, through a bracket for fixing to the machine and the fixing plate (6). |
