<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a U-shaped anti-theft device with a lower price and a reduced thickness by improving the processability and the assembling property of parts. SOLUTION: A U-shaped anti-theft device comprises a U-shaped arm members 3 having locking recessed portions 4a at both the end portions, a pair of insertion holes 8 into which both the end portions of the arm member 3 are inserted, a bar member 2 formed in such a manner that a lock hole 10 slidably supporting by insertion a cylinder lock 13 and a rod hole 9 housing a rod member 20 to be engaged with and disengaged from the locking recessed portion 4a so as to position their shaft lines within the same plane, a spring 21 provided in the rod hole 9 for urging the rod in a retreating direction, and a supporting member connected to the bar member 2 in the rod hole 9 for supporting the spring 21, and a taper pin 12 is driven vertically from the plane to a boundary portion between the bar member 2 and the supporting member within the plane where the shaft lines of the insertion hole 8, rod hole 9 and lock hole formed in the bar member 2 are located and both the members are coupled together.</p> |
