PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a more dense thermal spraying film without bringing cost increase in relation to a thermal spraying method and a roll with a thermal spraying film formed thereby.

SOLUTION: A powder material having a particle distribution of 21 μm or above and 30 μm or below as the powder material in the thermal spraying method where the powder material is sprayed on a base material to form the thermal spraying film on the base material.
