<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door automatic opening/closing device for a garage which is inexpensive in cost while repairing, inspecting and maintenance can be done easily. <P>SOLUTION: A shaft 1 has a swing arm 2 and a motor 6 with a reducer connected at each end. A bearing 5 supports the shaft 1. The swing arm 2 is fixed to the shaft 1 while a roller 3 attached to the tip end of the swing arm 2 is inserted in a groove of a roller guide 4.
