PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treating machine which hardly causes malfunction and fault due to water leakage and facilitates assembly and disassembly of an agitation member. SOLUTION: The garbage treating machine is provided with a treating machine main body 10 having a treatment tank 20 which stores garbage and treating material and an agitation means which agitates the garbage and the treating material in the treatment tank 20, wherein a blind-cylindrical bearing part 24 is disposed on the bottom center of the treatment tank 20. Further, the agitation means is provided with a rotation shaft 30 of which the lower end is rotatably supported by the bearing part 24 and the upper end is extended toward the upper part of the treatment tank 20, the agitation member 28 having agitation blades (blade parts 35, 39A, 39B, 43) projecting outward in the radial direction from the rotation shaft 30 and a driving means (driving motor 29) which is arranged on the upper part of the treatment tank 20 in the treating machine main body 10 and is connected with the upper end of the rotation shaft 30.
