PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly efficiently control various electric appliances and gas appliances provided in various types of facilities when a disaster occurs. SOLUTION: This electric appliance and gas appliance control system is provided with an earthquake detection control device 11 detecting the occurrence of earthquakes, and a fire detection control device 12 detecting the occurrence of a fire. The earthquake detection control device and the fire detection control device 12 have a communication means performing predetermined short-range radio communication, transmit control signals to the electric appliances and/or the gas appliances registered as controlled appliances according to the detection of the occurrence of the disaster via the communication means, and control the signals to turn off the power supply.
