PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a multiple bend type cold-cathode tube capable of preventing formation of light concentration sections and reducing a color deviation generated in both ends of the cold-cathode tube, and provide a structure of the multiple bend type cold-cathode tube. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the multiple bend type cold-cathode tube is as follows: at first, at least two linear type cold-cathode tubes having first ends 10 and second ends 20 are manufactured, and tube body parts to which no fluorescent coating layer is applied are formed in the both ends of the respective cold-cathode tubes by applying a fluorescent coating layer 30 to inner walls of the respective cold-cathode tubes. Next, adjacent inside edges of the two adjacent cold-cathode tubes are heated, and adjacent side edges of the two adjacent cold-cathode tubes are connected. Then, air is bled from opening ends of the first cold-cathode tube and last cold-cathode tube, and the opening ends are sealed to fit electrodes, to complete the multiple bend type cold-cathode tubes.
