PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool an optical disk device that is high in writing speed, and low in temperature margin, and allow an electronic instrument to stably operate. SOLUTION: A fan control signal for on/off controlling a fan is generated from a DDMARDY signal in an interface signal between optical recording/reproducing apparatus and an external memory device control circuit, and a HSTROBE signal.
