PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the arithmetic processing of a compressed program without delaying an arithmetic processing time as a whole. SOLUTION: This programmable controller is provided with an extracting means 3 for extracting a plurality of compressed programs and a CPU 1 for successively executing a plurality of programs extracted by the extracting means 3.
