PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb sandwich panel which has high strength, is lightweight, is incombustible and further has a soundproof characteristic with improved transmission loss. SOLUTION: In the honeycomb sandwich panel, the upper and lower face plates 2 and 3 comprising an aluminum-based alloy plate are fixed to the upper and lower faces of a honeycomb core 1 comprising the same alloy plate through a fixing means (not shown). Further, the metallic plate 7 consisting of an iron-based alloy is fixed to the lower face plate 3 being a sound source side via an intermediate member 6 having a prescribed thickness (t) through a fixing means 8. The intermediate member 6 is preferably a flame-retardant sheet-like fabric material, for example, a material in which a plurality of glass wool sheets are layered. Alternatively, the prescribed number of sheets of the flame-retardant sheet-like fabric material 6a having a prescribed area are layered as shown in Fig. 2, and the layered products disposed at an optional interval may be fixed by the fixing means 8 in such a state as to be held between the lower face plate 3 and the metallic plate 7.
