<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a molding of an aluminum oxide-titanium oxide mixture by which the molding of the aluminum oxide-titanium oxide mixture containing aluminum oxide powder, titanium oxide powder, water and polyethylene glycol is produced without sticking the molding to each other right after being molded. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing the molding of the aluminum oxide-titanium oxide mixture is characterized in that liquid filling degree of the aluminum oxide-titanium oxide mixture is 0.6-0.8 and the number average molecular weight of polyethylene glycol is equal to or below ≤9,000. For example, the aluminum oxide powder has 1-100 m<SP>2</SP>/g BET specific surface area, 0.1-50 μm particle diameter, 0.2-3 μm center particle diameter and the titanium oxide powder is rutile type and has 30-70 m<SP>2</SP>/g BET specific surface area, 0.1-50 μm particle diameter and 1-10 μm center particle diameter, and the ratio of aluminum oxide powder and the titanium oxide powder to be used is 20:80-(80:20) by mass. The mixed molding is thus obtained and the mixed fired molding is produced by firing the mixed molding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
