SYSTEM RESOURCE MONITORING METHOD, MONITORING DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively determine a use efficiency of a resource group and facilitate evaluation in a system with a gentle association of a service and a system resource which executes the service by performing a specific operation to an observed resource utilization value. SOLUTION: The system resource monitoring method for a system resource monitoring device of a system having a plurality of system resources includes steps of acquiring a utilization value of each system resource; calculating a dispersion value of utilization value for the whole system resources using the acquired utilization value of each system resource; calculating an unavailability value for the whole system using the utilization value of each system resource; and determining a use efficiency for the whole system resources using the dispersion value and the unavailability value.
