PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a COG (Chip On Glass) type liquid crystal display device capable of directly visualizing the connection state at a place of an electrode pad, to which a bump of a liquid crystal driving element is actually connected, from the back surface side of a terminal part even when the electrode pad of the terminal part side connected with the bump of the liquid crystal driving element is made of metal. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: the liquid crystal driving element 20 having the bump 21; and a liquid crystal display panel which comprises a transparent substrate and has the terminal part 10, wherein the electrode pad 111a made of metal material corresponding to the bump 21 of the liquid crystal driving element 20 is formed on one side surface of the terminal part 10, the liquid crystal driving element 20 is mounted on the other side surface of the terminal part, and the bump 21 and the electrode pad 111a are electrically connected to each other via an anisotropically conductive adhesive material. Therein, a see-through window 130 which is made by removing the metal material and is capable of visualizing the connection state by the use of the anisotropically conductive adhesive material from the other side surface of the terminal part 10 is formed on a part of the electrode pad 111a.
