PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform editing program that can improve the effect of preventing errors in editing binary waveforms. SOLUTION: A waveform editing apparatus that comprises at least a display means for displaying waveforms on a screen and an input means for enabling input operations and can display, on a screen, waveforms created according to data input via the input means or data captured from the outside is caused to implement a binary waveform creation function of creating a binary waveform according to given data and/or given input operations via the input means, a binary signal discrimination function of discriminating a binary signal pointed by the position of a cursor 28 displayed on screen when the binary waveform is created by the binary waveform creation function, and a binary signal display function of displaying the binary signal (ON mark 28a) discriminated by the binary signal discrimination function near the cursor 28.
