PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and simultaneously identify shape design variables and parameters of a mesh model for analysis from an actual product, and support the design of actual products. SOLUTION: The present invention includes: a shape measurement means for measuring actual product shape data from an actual product; a feature ridge line extraction means for extracting a feature ridge line from the actual product shape data; an automatic mesh creation means for automatically creating a mesh model for analysis from the shape design variables; an analysis mesh model feature ridge line extraction means for creating a feature ridge line from the mesh model for analysis; a shape difference evaluation means for evaluating a shape difference between the feature ridge line acquired from the actual product and the feature ridge line of the mesh model for analysis; and a means for automatically redefining the shape design variable so as to reduce the evaluated shape difference.
