PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment and a television receiver for efficiently using a storage capacity of a cache memory. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with: a cache memory 18; a storage part 20 for storing an AP program 20b and data 20a; a main memory 19 for storing the AP program 20b and the data 20a read from the storage part 20; and a CPU 17 for executing a storage program 21a2 for storing the AP program 20b and the data 20a stored in the storage part 20 in the main memory 19. This electronic equipment is configured to read the AP program 20b stored in the storage part 20 from the storage part 20, and to directly store it in the main memory 19, and to read the data 20a stored in the storage part 20 from the storage part 20, and to copy it to the cache memory 18, and to read the data 20a from the cache memory 18, and to store it in the main memory 19.
