PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road maintenance work informing system comprising a simple constitution capable of informing a vehicle driver going to pass a road maintenance work field of existence of the work field, arousing sufficient attention beforehand, and thereby realizing safety of a passing vehicle and safety of a worker. SOLUTION: This road maintenance work informing system for preventing beforehand an accident such as collision or contact between a passing vehicle and a working vehicle or a worker by informing early a vehicle driver who is going to pass the work field of existence of a vehicle or a person working on a road maintenance such as a repair work or cleaning, is equipped with a plurality of self-luminous road rivets 10 installed at prescribed intervals on prescribed spots on a curbstone 6 or a roadside zone part 7 along a road 1, and having respectively each built-in radio wave receiver; and a radio wave transmitter installed on the road maintenance work field A. The radio wave transmitter and each radio wave receiver are connected together by radio, and when a radio wave transmitted from the radio wave transmitter is received by the radio wave receiver, the self-luminous road rivet 10 emits light flashingly.
