The heat sink is in the form of a heat pipe, e.g. a flat heat pipe, with at least one interior volume that is closed relative to the surroundings with at least one vapor chamber or channel and at least one liquid chamber or channel connected to the vapor channel and formed by a porous or capillary structure. The porous or capillary structure consists of particles joined by bonding or sintering. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of manufacturing an inventive device.
