<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite type metal molded body which can improve rust preventive effect by preventing sticking or infiltration of moisture at the inside and the surface of a molded body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The composite type metal molded body in which a resin binder 35 and a resin filler 36 are interposed between mutually welded metal particles 33, and on the surface of which a composite plating layer 38 is formed is obtained by charging metal particles 33 coated with the resin binder 35 to a molding die, subjecting the same to press molding so as to obtain a molded body 34. Then the void parts included in the molded body 34 are infiltrated with the resin filler 36 so as to cure the same, and thereafter forming a composite plating layer 38 on the surface of the molded body 34.
