The invention relates to a transfer assembly (1) for transferring an element from or to the inside of a closed contaminated enclosure (12) having an opening (11). The transfer assembly (1) comprises (i) a first port (10) that closes off the opening (11) in the contaminated enclosure (12) in a substantially leaktight manner and (ii) a transfer unit (30) that delimits a closed space and has an opening closed off by a second port (50) configured to pivot towards the inside of the transfer unit (30), the first port (10) and the second port (50) each having at least one coupling member configured to allow the first port (10) and the second port (50) to be coupled together and configured to allow the coupled-together first port (10) and second port (50) to pivot towards the inside of the transfer unit (30).
