<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device that can read out signals recorded on optical disks of different standards by using three laser beams having different wavelengths. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is configured to read out signals recorded on a signal recording layer provided on each of first, second and third optical disks of different standards by converging first, second and third laser beams having different wavelengths to the signal recording layer. In the optical pickup device, a collimator lens 9 is provided between a 1/4 wavelength plate 8 and an objective lens so as to allow displacement in the optical axis direction for adjusting/changing the transmission angle of the laser beam. When the second and third laser beams emitted from a two-wavelength laser diode 3 are used, the collimator lens 9 is moved toward the objective lens direction so that the convergent light beams are made incident on the objective lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
