A network system is provided which can prevent conflicts of traffic processing rules between virtual networks. This network system includes communication nodes, and a control device. The communication nodes handle communication traffic identified by identification conditions included in processing rules for handling communication traffic. The control device has a first means which combines multiple first networks and second networks constructed using the communication nodes and creates a third network, a second means which calculates a set of identifiers that can be used as identification conditions included in processing rules for handling communication traffic in the third network, and a third means which sends notification of the calculated set of identifiers. The second means calculates a set of identifiers that can be used in the third network on the basis of a set of identifiers that can be used in the first networks and a set of identifiers that can be used in the second networks. |
