The present invention discloses a volume device having a complex structure, capable of providing a predetermined service for at least one user terminal. According to the present invention, the volume device having the complex structure includes: a random access memory (RAM) which is a temporary storage device; a plurality of hard disks which store data; a redundant array of independent disks (RAID) controller which controls the hard disks as the hard disks are configured in a hardware RAID volume; and a central processing unit (CPU) which performs a predetermined operating system (OS) using the RAM and constructs a software volume so that the hard disks are provided in one volume to the user terminal. According to one embodiment of the present invention, both of a hardware array and a software array are constructed to reduce the load of the CPU, to enhance the performance of a server, and to improve the reliability. |
