<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily pigment ink composition including a pigment, an organic solvent and a polymer compound, which excels in printer reliability, for example, achieves continuous mass printing of stable quality, can print on a printing medium comprising an inexpensive film having no receptive layer such as polyvinyl chloride, and can withstand outdoor use environment, by improving discharge stability at the time of high speed printing at 15 kHz or more driving frequency. <P>SOLUTION: This oily pigment ink composition for use in an inkjet printer with 15 kHz or more driving frequency includes at least a pigment, an organic solvent and a polymer compound, and has 1-12 mPa s viscosity A and 1.000-1.010 dilatant coefficient B/A, when the viscosity measured at 5×10<SP POS="POST">3</SP>s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>shear rate at 25°C is A and the viscosity measured at 1×10<SP POS="POST">5</SP>s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>shear rate at 25°C is B, by a method for measuring accompanied with an increase in the shear rate by using a rotational viscometer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
