PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reconstruction propulsion method for an existing pipe such that the existing pipe buried in the ground and having deteriorated can be efficiently removed and a new pipe can be securely laid.SOLUTION: A method comprises: a one-block extraction process in which a gripper 13 is installed at an intermediate part where one or a plurality of existing pipes 1 are put from the side of a reached pit 3, and then increased in diameter to be fixed to an inner peripheral surface of an existing pipe 1, and a rod extraction device 5 is placed in operation to extract the one or plurality of existing pipes 1 in one block toward the reached pit 3 by a predetermined length; an all-block extraction process in which the one-block extraction process is repeated to extract existing pipes 1 toward the reached pit 3 one after another, block by block, and extraction up to an existing pipe front end part on the side of a starting pit 4 is thus completed; and a replacement process in which an extraction rod 11 inserted from the side of the reached pit 3 is fixed to a reaction force board 6, a reconstruction excavator is installed in front thereof, and new pipes are connected one after another behind the reconstruction excavator and advanced associatively with the rod extraction device 5 to replace the existing pipes 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
