<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide autoclaved lightweight concrete that can apply an excellent surface coating with a fine sight, without adhering a wet color and a water absorption mark even if it is in contact with water for long time, and is excellent in a water repellent property and a waterproof property, over long period of time of 2-4 weeks or more without variation thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The concrete includes powdery siliceous raw material and calcareous raw material as main raw materials. This concrete has a coating layer which is formed on the outer surface of the autoclaved lightweight concrete body formed with steam curing at a high temperature and high pressure. This coating layer is formed as follows. A diluted solution of a water-repellent agent having, as a main constituent, a silicone expressed by the following general formula is applied as the coating layer with 1.5-30.0 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>as an effective constituent conversion.
