PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter having excellent external appearance even if provided with a projecting part or bent, and a container formed using the printed matter.SOLUTION: A printed matter includes a first area a and a second area b. The first area a at least has a substrate 1, a hard coat layer 2 and a glossy printed layer 3 sequentially laminated. The second area b at least has a substrate 1 and a glossy printed layer 3 sequentially laminated. A hard coat layer 2 is not laminated between the substrate 1 and the glossy printed layer 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
