PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission module which transmits an optical signal to optical fibers through optical fibers coupled to an optical element and/or receives an optical signal transmitted through optical fibers. SOLUTION: An optical element module 20 which is provided with a receptacle member 21 including plural leads for transmission of an electric signal and an optical element 25, which is provided in the receptacle member 21 and is electrically connected to leads, and converts the electric signal/an optical signal to an optical signal/an electric signal, a connector module 10 which is provided with a holder 11 connected to the receptacle member 21 and at least one optical fiber 15, which is provided in the holder 11 so as to face the optical element 25, and transmits the optical signal, and a coupling means which couples the optical element module 20 and the connector module 10 into a package are included, and this coupling means consists of guide grooves 41, which are formed in wall parts on both sides of a receptacle member 21 and one of both sides of a holder, and guide projections 43 which are provided on the other side and are freely slidably fitted to guide grooves 41, thus slidably coupling the optical element module 20 and the connector module 10. |
