PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of heat due to eddy currents, improvement of power efficiency and reduce a size of motor. SOLUTION: A motor comprises a stator core 3 having a stator coil 4 and a plurality of slots distributed in the equal pitch in the rotor rotating direction to accept the stator coil frames 5s, 6s of a metallic material for holding the iron core 3, a rotor 2 provided within a space surrounded with the iron core 3 and brackets 5e, 6e of a metal material holding the rotor bearings 8, 9. Furthermore, a plurality of recesses and projections 10a, 10r, 10s, 11a, 11r, 11s distributed in the direction of current flowing into a coil end and extending in the vertical direction to a current flow direction are provided at the internal surface opposing to the coil end of the frames 5s, 6s or brackets 5e, 6e. The projected part opposing the short side of the coil end is set high, and the projected part opposing the long side is set low. The frames (5s/6s) and brackets (5e/6e) are integrated to form a cup shape and these projected parts are made into an integrally continuous body.
