PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a substrate for a liquid crystal display panel provided with color filters capable of preventing color mixture between adjacent color filters without increasing the number of production steps. SOLUTION: A black-colored resin film to become a black matrix 2a is formed on a glass substrate 1 and a resist film is formed on this black-colored resin film. A resist pattern 3a is formed by providing openings at the positions of the resist film for arranging color filters. The black matrix 2a is formed by etching the black-colored resin film masked with the pattern 3a. The color filters 4a, 5a, 6a are formed by an ink jet method in the region partitioned by using the resist film and the black-colored resin film as partitions at the positions specified by the pattern 2a. |
