PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent probe and a fluorescent detection method using the sauce for performing excellent quantitative and reproducible detection of a specific nucleic acid sequence without causing any sensitiveness loss. SOLUTION: This fluorescent probe has a base sequence complement with the specific sequence in target nucleic acid. One end of the probe is labeled with a nano particle phosphor, while the other end is labeled with a fluorescent dye causing fluorescent resonance energy transfer from the nano particle phosphor.
