PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insulate electrically between a connecting part of lead wire of thermistor element and a pair of the core wires of distributing cable, and between the connecting part concerned and a metal cap. SOLUTION: The temperature sensor for hot water supply apparatus has a metal cap has a thermistor element 2 and a holder 4. The metal cap 1 is sheath into which the thermistor element 2 is inserted while, the thermistor element 2, a lead wire 6 of which is covered by an insulated tube 7, is soldered to the core wire of distributing cable 8 of a connector, and, together with a part of the lead wire 6 and the distributing cable 8, is encapsulated within the metal cap 1 with a filler. The holder 4 containing a pair of a body segment 4a forming tubing body with two pores and an enclosure segment 4b, keeps away between the connecting parts 18 and 18 by interleaving the connecting part 18 of the distributing cable 8 and the lead wire 6 of the thermistor element 2 between the both segments, and also between the connecting part 18 and the metal cap 1 to insulate electrically.
