PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a refrigerator having a water supply system and an ice making device, wherein a pipe made of a metal member is used for the tip of a water supply pipe to prevent freezing of the water supply pipe and furthermore it is necessary to use an earthing or insulating structure for electric shock prevention, which results in complicated structure, poor working efficiency and expensive specification in a conventional method. SOLUTION: The refrigerator has a water supply tank 201 disposed in a refrigerating chamber and supplies water to the ice making device disposed in a freezing chamber or an ice making chamber, through a water supply pump and the water supply pipe 206. The water supply pipe 206 is formed of insulating resin with a predetermined thickness (e.g., 1.0 mm) or more, and a cylindrical metal member 212 with high heat conductivity is inserted in the tip of the water supply pipe 206 to prevent freezing of the tip of the water supply pipe 206.
