PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent kerosene from entering a slit for passing in and out of air provided in an upper part of a core guide inner cylinder, and to quickly extinguish a flame by lowering an oil heater core to extinguish the flame, in a core lifting type oil heater. SOLUTION: A metallic foil is provided with a plurality of circular burring holes B in portions corresponding to spaces between yarn 53, parallel with the yarn 53, wherein t1 and t2 are thicker than t0 because a fiber part 5 is swollen onto the core guide inner cylinder side or core guide outer cylinder side by protrusions of the burring holes B. A clearance between the fiber and the core guide outer cylinder is thereby eliminated without increasing the number of fibers of the oil heater core. The elimination of the clearance between the fiber and the core guide outer cylinder makes it hard for oxygen to enter the clearance. The flame is thereby quickly extinguished.
